Tanzania

In January, 2015, I went to Tanzania to sit in on some of Wendy Ewald’s Tanzania Literacy Through Photography teacher trainings, to see what life was like for animals before humans overran the world and most of all to photograph. Included in the photographs below are a series on Stonetown - the maze-like old town area of the city of Zanzibar - and a series of photographs of the wonderful hand-painted signs that give advertising a good name.
