Emanoel

The day after my Flea Market exhibition in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the Curator and Director of the Museu AfroBrasil, Emanoel Araujo, took me to two nearby flea markets and to his home for a lunch party. As soon as I saw his house I understood why my Flea Market work had spoken to him – his house was every bit as wonderful and magical as the great Paris Marché aux Puces. It was a magnificent day.
